Mama D’Accardo’s Aunts

This painting was based on a story told to me by my friend Steve about his mother’s sisters who would get together for coffee that they drank from tiny tiny cups and gossiped. The story stuck in my head for years before it finally emerged on a canvas. I never met the sisters except through Steve’s story.
